My Alice Has been modded for ages.
I have extra functions, such as "turn away from" and "fade to black" that were never added to Alice for whatever reason or are only there because of Storytelling Alice.

I want to share these mods with you, so I have built a simple world that will install them. It is really easy to use and only adds a couple of extra files. You can uninstall the mods with this world again at any time.

This changes your Alice style, so if you are using a custom one, it will not be overwritten, but a new one will be installed and switched to. You can can temporarily disable all of these mods by changing to a different style at any time.

Warning, this is experimental, I have tried to make it as bug free as possible, but there is still a chance that there could be a few bugs. If you don't like this then you can uninstall it, so why not give it a go?

Minimum compatible Alice version: 2.2 08/05/2011

Update 1.1 - Added modded colours as an option in custom install. Colours are standard by default.

It says I'm not using 2.2.
It says I'm not using 2.2.
Minimum version is 2.2 08/05/11
The error message says "You are not using Alice 2.2 (08/05/2011)".

What version did they introduce the "int <a> as a string function in"?
It might work for that version and up, if so I can reduce the compatible version number.

Never mind, it's working now. I liked the older colors better, but oh well.
Never mind, it's working now. I liked the older colors better, but oh well.
Oh, I can change the colours if you want, I didn't even notice they were different, they've been different for so long.
Plus you can uninstall if you don't want it (by running the world again), or you can keep it and change your style back, but you will lose the extra functionality if you do.

Cant you just manually go into the files to change the colors? Thats what I do. Or will that uninstall them. If you want I can post the origional color scheme here so that you can copy it into your files.

Could you please remove that rather long post, I am trying to be polite, its just unnecessary now.

I updated it, in the latest version the colours are standard by default, but if you want the modded ones then just pick "custom install" and choose that option.

If you already have modded colours then please download the latest version, play it and just click "Redo". It will uninstall and then install again.

sorry about that.. Pretty cool, so you just made them? Did you just create a string and make it a method then save it? Like "face object" then "turn left .5 revolutions"?

Like "face object" then "turn left .5 revolutions"?
No, I could technically make new methods, but then other people wouldn't be able to use your world unless they had modded their Alice too. This just unlocks things that were already in the Alice code, but were not accessible.

Some of them are unfinished, some of them were added for Storytelling Alice and for some I'm not too sure why they weren't added. For this reason, take caution when using them; I'm sure most of them work, none of them should corrupt your world, but you might get unexpected results (which can then be deleted).
