Minecraft server Issue Thing

HELP! When I try to run my server, it comes up with this:
java.net.SocketException;Network is unreachable:connect.:confused:
Does anybody know how to fix this? I have tried running a difrrent server before. IT DOES NOT WORK!

Did you open Port# 25565 on your router first?

I am having a hard time getting a server working too, but making sure that port #25565 is open is important, and is usually the source of most people's problems. I have opened the port, and although people on my local internet connection can connect to my server, anyone outside of it cannot get to it.

I got it to work.
But then it lagged too much....
