camera follow car

Hello, working on my first Alice world.

I am making a driving simulator, and have made a little "park" for the car to drive around in. I have the car driving with the arrow keys, but I can't seem to figure out how to get the camera to follow the car without irregular pauses or too fast speeds. I have found out how to get the camera to point at the car, it's just the following part I don't understand.

Any help appreciated.

what you need to do is select the camera in the object list, go down to the properties tab, and find the "vehicle=world" statement. Change this to be "vehicle=(car object)". Now wherever the car goes the camera should follow.

What he means is right mouse button the object you want to be following the car. Then click set vehicle to...then select the object that you want to follow

You could try having it move forward if it is a certain distance away, and point at the car in a do together, in an infinite loop.

simplest thing, change the camera angle to the position you want it at when you want it following the car, then set the camera's vehicle to the car, doesn't have to be in order but you need to change the angle everytime you start the world if you've moved it from the last time
