Collision detector for an in-doors level
 
I'm making a simple cat-simulator game. I put together a little house that you can walk around, and a garden, and everything was looking good, except I still needed to add the collision detector.

I started making a basic collision method like I always do, but then I encountered a problem. This is an inside game, so when I set the collision detector to the room, the press play, it kicks you OUT OF THE HOUSE and onto the grass outside, because you can't be touching or even close to the floor.

Unfortunately, the rooms and corridors are not divided by section like most things, so I can't set the collision detector to the walls only. I have to either have a game where the room you're in kicks you out, or a game where you can run through walls.

Anyone know how to help me?

Try using collision-enabled blocks along the walls of the house instead of the house itself.

Or a square the cat must stay inside of on the floor....
