I do not take credit for images, shinra MP image goes to Gaumaru. That should work if it doesn't than please speak up.

I'd like to help, but I'm a terrible artist and an even worse 3-d modeler. The only way I could help is if a 3d model of your character already existed, then I could get it into Alice.

You could try making it yourself. Any of these four free programs would be ideal:

-Sketchup (simple, powerful, popular) http://sketchup.google.com/

-Blender (VERY powerful, much more complicated) http://www.blender.org/

-Smoothteddy (probably the simplest) http://www-ui.is.s.u-tokyo.ac.jp/~takeo/java/smoothteddy/index.html

-Truespace (powerful, video tutorials on website) http://www.caligari.com/downloads.html

Best of luck.

Ok, i have Truespace and I'm wondering should it be able to save objects in .ase

x2495iiii 01-07-2010 06:53 PM

If it can't, you can always download Biturn and use that to convert the models to .ase files.

Zack Strife 01-07-2010 07:11 PM

i have tried using Biturn before and it wont even open it says i need another program. I did download it from that site you posted about in your other thread. can you tell me what I need to do?

That's completely weird, I've never heard that before.

Unless it's still in .rar form. Is it? If it's in .rar form, you need a file extractor like Win-zip or (better yet) 7-zip to get the .exe file that you need to run.

Zack Strife 01-07-2010 07:26 PM

I believe that it is in .rar, and I wanted to get a program that I wouldn't eventually have to buy. I know winzip you can get a trial but than you must buy it.

7-zip is free, get that instead. It's better anyway.
